2018 Jean-Marc Boillot Pommard 1er Cru Les Rugiens Cortese Clara Concejo farms 8 hectares92 95 points, Jasper Morris, Inside BurgundySolid dense purple, with impressive density on the nose. Well worth an extra sniff. As one would expect, Rugiens provides that bit more than the other 1ers Crus. There is extra density here in a ripe purple fruit, easily enough to cover the tannins, superb richness as you would expect from vines planted in 1928 9. One could almost call this graceful!
