Brought back from a tour of Europe, a visit to Versailles. Held within the original oval frame this antique reverse painting on glass is in spectacular condition, with foil and the appearance of "mother of pearl" behind the painted windows. "My Grandfather fought in WW I. Every time I look at this painting I'm reminded of him.
