Pitomba asian Thin smooth rindAn excellent ornamental shrub. The pitomba produces bright orange yellow fruit with soft, melting, juicy flesh with a highly aromatic slightly acid flavour. They are good eaten fresh or made into jelly and preserves. Taste comparable to an apricot. Very slow growing, hence suitable as a dwarf fruit tree. Currently approx 10 15cms above the pot.
