The neck is dated January '59, the body February '59, with CTS pots from week 50 of 1958 putting this one in the very first wave of Jazzmaster production. All the earliest spec features are in place: thick slab rosewood fretboard, and the original gold anodized aluminum pickguard that Fender phased out
