Rare Slinky Vintage 1930s 40s Dress Black Satin Crepe Deco Vamp UK XS 1940s Shorts The jacket is dolman cutA rare c. late 1930s or early 1940s dress handmade from a luxurious heavy weight satin faced crepe. The dress has a high draped neckline, V shaped yoke and a double pointed high waist seam which makes me think of bat ears, slim elbow length sleeves, and fabric covered buttons at the bodice back; the skirt is slightly flared. It fastens at the back bodice, waist side, & cuffs with poppers. Please study the photographs carefully they form an important
