Inspired by the the artist's vision of desert winds moving the sand, the colors are gorgeous together. Finely woven, thin and light, less than 3 ounces per 42" wide yard. It's only slightly drapey, and a little see through, with no sheen and no slubs. In India this cotton silk is often made into sarees, shawls, and scarves. It would also be wonderful for windows and beds,
