Vintage Mens 1940s 'Guards' Double Breasted Overcoat Coat Blue Grey Wool DB Belted 36" Burtons Size: Marked 16 1/2" neckA superb vintage 1940s overcoat, retailed by B. G. Sweet of Plymouth & made by 'Guards The Man's Wear' from a thick, slightly fleecy diagonal weave wool cloth in a lovely heathered air force blue grey colour. It is double breasted with broad lapels, has quite heavily padded shoulders with rear slanted seams, gauntlet cuffs, 2 lower patch pockets with flaps, topstitched swelled edges, & matching belt with leather covered buckle.
