The cane has 6 layers of colour glass which has then been cut and shaped to make a bead approximately 8mm in diameter

The Miyuki number for these beads is 4220

I made samples using both Fireline and KO thread and I found the Fireline gave a much better finish

The clasp measures about 23 x 10mm- has 3 rows and a springtongue mechanism
