1839 JOHN WESLEY. Charming Original Plaster Relief of the Founder of Methodism. Possibly Unique Presbyterian 1 of The Pulpit LibraryThis is a really charming little John Wesley piece of ephemera from a British collection with a variety of unique Wesleyania material. Measuring 3 x 2 3 8 inches, it is a very detailed plaster plaque relief, probably either a proof or a study, though I cannot find that this piece dimensionally was ever put into production. It clearly is not the final production piece as it is not finished outside of the actual portrait. Wonderful as a desk top
