Blue Lights, Volume 1 limited We couldn’t make a LegoAm 14. Mai 1958 versammelte der Gitarrist Kenny Burrell im Manhattan Towers Studio in New York sieben hochkartige Musiker um sich, um im Stil einer lockeren Jamsession bluesige Originale, Balladen und Standards fr zwei Alben aufzunehmen. Whrend "Blue Lights, Volume 1" noch im selben Jahr von Blue Note verffentlicht wurde, erschien "Blue Lights, Volume 2" erst 1961. Das Cover ziert eine Illustration eines damals noch relativ unbekannten Andy Warhol.
