With an almost devotional type of singing, pedal steel guitar and synthesisers, its a difficult album to describe. It brings to mind Nicos Desert Shore or Marble Index, although is not as gloomy. Glory Days, also has a Popol Vuh like quality of epic engulfing soundscapes, that are serene to the point of being unnerving.
